NPO Asian Green Forest Network (AGFN) Japan and the Foundation Green Bali Lestari (YBHL) with the support of the provincial government of Bali and also the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (Embassy) in Japan held a tree planting afforestation and reforestation seventh time since 2007 were made. Participants planting will be attended by volunteers caring environment which comes from the students (STIBA, Unud, Karuna Bali), a group of nature lovers Unud, Asia Pulp & Paper Group (APP), Bali Mori Kai, the community off roader, community Honda CB, the Indonesian Red Cross, Rotary and Rotaract in Bali, local communities and the green team of companies and offices in Bali.
This year planting activities will be followed by more than 300 participants. Seedlings are planted is the result of donations from various community Bali coordinated by YBHL and AGFN. "This program aims to improve those areas in Bali that have been degraded in the past. The effort that we are doing so that young people in the future can still enjoy the beautiful environment, comfortable and protected from future disasters." Gede Bayu said Chairman YBHL wiratama.
Suhendra Wiriadinata, Director of Asia Pulp & Paper (APP), said the initiative AGFN and YBHL in this tree planting activity is a real step concerns synergy between Japan and Bali in improving the survival of forest ecosystems in Indonesia, especially in Bali.
APP's being one of the participants in this planting event. In this planting event, APP welcomes the initiative AGFN and this YBHL.
